Breed Introduction

　　The exact ancestry is unknown; it is said to have originated in Tibet, China, later coming to Hungary via Turkey, and ultimately developing into today’s Kuvaz in Hungary. In terms of appearance and coat color, it is very similar to the Maremma Sheepdog and the Great Pyrenees, suggesting they may share common ancestors.

　　This is a large breed, although it is no longer in its ancient form. The coat color of this dog must be white or ivory. This breed is of excellent quality, very intelligent, and dignified in appearance, making it highly favored by children as a great companion and guard dog.

　　A tall working dog with a solid structure, it is very harmonious and never appears slender or resembling a short-legged horse. It is white without any markings, has a medium bone structure, and is muscular, appearing neither heavy nor lifeless.
