The German Pinscher has well-developed senses, is intelligent, has a natural aptitude for training, is fearless, has endurance, and can resist diseases. It is quick-witted, alert, and cautious around strangers. When threatened, it shows fearless courage and resilience.

　It is an active dog but does not bark excessively. It should not display hostility or attack without cause. One must fully consider the German Pinscher’s high vigilance, intelligence, and energetic personality. Aggressiveness displayed towards other dogs should not be seen as hostility.

　The ideal height for both males and females is 17-20 inches from the highest point of the shoulder to the ground.
