Breed Introduction
The American Cocker Spaniel originated from the 19th-century American Cocker Spaniel, a breed developed in the last century in the United States.
It was brought from Spain to England around the early 10th century, became the English breed, and was later brought back to the United States for mass breeding and improvement, resulting in a smaller and more beautiful dog known as the American Cocker Spaniel.
